Textile sheaths

Hygienic air distribution certified for the food industry

Poorly diffused air costs your production money

In the food industry, air is an often underestimated vector of contamination. A poorly designed network creates stagnation zones. It also encourages microbial proliferation. As a result, your cleaning-in-place (CIP) protocols become more cumbersome and costly.

We observe this problem in many contexts: cheese dairies, dairies, cutting plants and food processing. Rigid ducts accumulate contaminants. They complicate maintenance operations. They also generate material losses that are difficult to quantify.

We have the right solution for these real-life constraints.

Our textile solution complies withHACCP

Our textile sheaths are lightweight, can be disassembled in minutes and are machine washable.

They fit naturally into your HACCP protocols. They distribute air along their entire length. This eliminates aggressive draughts, hot spots and dead zones.

We integrate ATC (Aero Textile Concept) solutions, a benchmark French manufacturer. Our installations are CAN/ULC S102.2 certified. We adapt each project to your room geometry and production constraints.

How does textile air distribution work ?

Our system is based on controlled fabric permeability.

Unlike rigid ducts, we diffuse the air along the entire length of the duct. Three diffusion modes are available, depending on your process:

Calibrated ports: Ø 1 mm to 18 mm

This mode ensures precise directional diffusion. We use it for high flow rates, large room heights or areas requiring controlled air velocity.

Porous belts

Air escapes gently over the entire surface of the belt. This is our choice for cheese ripening rooms, where a homogeneous, non-aggressive airflow is essential for product quality.

Longitudinal slots

This mode produces oriented laminar jets. We recommend it for high rooms, drip rooms or areas requiring precise flow orientation.

For complex configurations, we use CFD digital simulation. This enables us to validate performance before installation. This eliminates start-up surprises.

Certified materials for every environment

We select the fabric to suit your production environment.

Every environment has its own requirements. We offer four families of certified materials in stock:

  • NC polyester: cheese-making standard, white RAL 9010, resistant to industrial washing
  • Antibacterial polyester: limits microbial proliferation between cleaning cycles
  • Antistatic polyester: ATEX zones, control of electrostatic accumulation risks
  • Fiberglass or polyurethane : fire-risk environments, non-flammable materials

Eight standard RAL colors are available. Customized versions with logo or corporate color are also available to order.

We adapt to all types of space

Our ducts can be adapted to the architectural constraints of your existing installations.

Whether it’s a new build or a retrofit, we find the right format. Here are the geometries we integrate:

  • Circular sheath: versatile, suitable for the vast majority of applications
  • Semicircular duct: half-ceiling diffusion for low false ceilings
  • Elliptical duct: discreet profile for limited room heights
  • Blower wall: lateral diffusion in corridors or long areas
  • Quarter-round duct: room corners and tight technical spaces

We guarantee clean, aesthetic integration into your spaces. There’s no compromise on airflow performance.

We maintain your textile networks

We support our customers well beyond commissioning.

A high-performance textile network requires structured monitoring. We visually inspect each section at regular intervals. This allows us to detect deformations or biofilm deposits before they affect your performance.

Cleaning is done by machine, with cycles adapted to each type of fabric. When repairs are necessary, we intervene on site. We restore the liner without complete replacement. We also check flow rates and speeds after each major service.

A regular maintenance program reduces your operating costs. It also extends the life of your equipment. Your production performance remains constant over time.

ATC the manufacturer, Soteck Clauger the expert integrator

We combine ATC’s certified technology with our field expertise in Quebec.

ATC is a French manufacturer recognized in industrial markets worldwide. Its ducts are CAN/ULC S102.2 approved for the North American market. For over 20 years, our teams have been integrating these solutions into the most demanding environments in Eastern Canada.

Our role goes beyond supplying the product. We analyze your aeraulic and thermal requirements. We size the system, including CFD simulation if your installation requires it. Our teams install, commission and train your personnel. We remain your single point of contact for the entire life cycle of the system.

Frequently asked questions about textile sheaths

With regular maintenance, an ATC textile sheath lasts between 10 and 15 years under normal industrial conditions. We find that customers who adhere to a semi-annual cleaning protocol achieve the longest service lives. Stainless steel and food-grade plastic accessories also contribute to this longevity.

Yes, we regularly perform this type of upgrade. First, we evaluate your current geometry and flow rates, then select the right format and fabric for your set temperature. The installation generates little interruption to your production.

Absolutely. We use antistatic polyester approved for use in hazardous areas. This fabric dissipates accumulated electrostatic charges. It meets the requirements of the ATEX directive in force in Canada and Europe.

Disassembly takes just a few minutes, without the need for specialized tools. The sheaths are then put through their paces in a washing machine on a cycle suitable for the fabric. We recommend cleaning every 3 to 6 months, depending on the intensity of your production. This operation can be carried out in-house by your teams.

The difference is significant. Rigid ducting accumulates biofilms in inaccessible areas and requires extensive cleaning. The textile sheath is completely removable and machine-washable. We visually inspect each section at each maintenance, which is impossible with rigid duct.
